Education Professional- Speech/Language Pathologist
Under the general supervision of the Director of Special Programs, the SLP will plan and organize instruction in ways that maximize student learning, employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies to communicate subject matter to students including strategies to meet diverse student needs. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to therapy, evaluations, IEP development, and teacher consultation. The SLP will work with students in the self-contained non-categorical classrooms and general education inclusion classrooms. Preferred candidates will have experience with oral-motor skills, childhood development, PECS, ABA/VB strategies, and/or Floortime.

Education Professional- Special Education Teacher
The education professional is responsible for meeting the educational needs of students and must be committed to maintaining and growing the students’ current levels of academic achievement. The special education teacher will report to the director of special programs.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- PDE PK-12 Special Education Certification (or Special Education Certification applicable at least PK-8)
- Strong background in working with students with Autism
- Experience working with Verbal Behavior programming
- Master’s in Education preferred
- CPR and First Aid training a plus

Elementary Teacher
The education professional is responsible for meeting the educational needs of students and must be committed to maintaining and growing the students’ current levels of academic achievement. The elementary teacher will report to the building principal.- PDE Certification K-6 or Prek-4 ELA
- CPR and First Aid training a plus

Head Coach-Girls Varsity Basketball
Under the direction of the high school administrative principal and the athletic director, the head coach is responsible for helping student athletes achieve increased or improved skills of performance, an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship, and an increased level of character. The head coach also is responsible for seeing that student athletes in the Basketball program are properly organized, that the program is well operated, and that effective supervision is provided. Furthermore, the head coach has, as a primary responsibility, to assure that Basketball program activities are conducted to serve the best interest of students, and that all WPIAL, PIAA and district regulations and guidelines are thoroughly understood and followed.Paraprofessional

- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- One year of experience preferred
- At least 48 hours of approved college credit or an Associate’s Degree from an accredited school is preferred or
the attainment of the PDE Credential of Competency. - CPR and First Aid certification is required
- Knowledge/experience working in a highly structured Autistic Support classroom preferred
- Experience with verbal behavior programming preferred.
- 20 hours of staff development, specific to assignment, annually – opportunities to be provided by school district
and other approved providers.

works with students to improve individual and group skills, and provides support, guidance, and accountability
to help students benefit from program participation.
