Act 66 Form of 2021-2022 School Year

As required by Act 66, the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) developed and posted online a standard form (link) for parents/guardians to notify school entities of their child’s plan to remain in the school and/or current grade level for the 2021-22 school year. Board Policy Updates

The Apollo-Ridge School District in conjunction with PSBA and our Solicitor is updating the board policy manual. As the policies are being reviewed, they will be posted on this page to be visible to the public prior to board approval.

ELEMENTARY STUDENT TESTS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

Earlier today, the district received notification that a student at the Apollo-Ridge Elementary School has tested positive for COVID-19. The individual will not return to the school until they have completed isolation procedures for COVID-19. All students and staff who were potentially in close contact, have received or will receive personalized communications from the school and/or Department of Health. If you do not receive additional communications from the school or Department of Health, your child is presently not thought to be among those who were potentially exposed.
