On Monday, April 8, 2024 the Apollo-Ridge School District will be operating on an early release schedule for students. High School and Middle School students will dismiss at 11:25 am and Elementary students will dismiss at 12:25 pm.
The purpose of the early dismissal is to ensure the safety of our students during the historical solar eclipse, as well as provide families the opportunity to safely experience this event together. The Pennsylvania Department of Education has issued a resource guide for K-12 school. This guide, as linked below, contains information on eye safety, viewing methods, educational activities, and more.
