Earlier this afternoon a Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court ruling overturned the face covering Order for schools implemented by the Acting Secretary of Health. Subsequent to this ruling, however, an appeal was filed by the Governor’s Office which places a stay on the Order until the Pennsylvania Supreme Court gives a ruling on this issue. This means that, until that time, schools are still required to comply with the Order requiring that face coverings be worn by all individuals as indicated while inside of K-12 school buildings.
We apologize that we had to send the earlier message and now switch back so quickly, but with parent conferences scheduled for this evening had to make sure we are in compliance with current regulations.
