Today Governor Wolf announced the closure of all K-12 schools for 10 business days, effective Monday, March 16. During this time the buildings and facilities of Apollo-Ridge School District will be closed, with no classes, extracurricular activities, athletics, field trips, or other related functions.
Packets of work prepared by staff were sent home with students today. The purpose of this work is to keep students current in their learning, enrich their knowledge, and maintain the skills they have been mastering while they are away from the classroom. We have a small amount of packets for students unable to receive them today which will be mailed home.
During this time away from school, we urge families to follow the practices and procedures as recommended by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and PA Department of Health (DOH) to stay healthy and safe. The link to each website is below, as both organizations have a vast amount of information on how to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide you with any updates as they become available. Automated phone calls will be used as necessary, and we ask you to visit the District website for any information or messages that may be posted.
This is a difficult time for everyone, and your cooperation, patience, and support is greatly appreciated.
Please take care, follow all recommendations for social distancing and keeping yourself healthy, and be sure to contact your physician if you have any questions or concerns.
