Mr. Christopher T. Clark
Mr. Clark
attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he
received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education.
He completed his Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from
Virginia Polytechnic Institute and University commonly called
Virginia Tech. The Masters Degree endorsed Mr. Clark to be
certified as a school administrator in grades Kindergarten -
12.
Mr. Clark is a graduate of Valley
High School in New Kensington, PA, the class of 1992. He did
his student teaching at Franklin Regional Junior High School and
served as a Ninth Grade Algebra Teacher.
In 1997, Mr. Clark was employed as
a substitute teacher in the Allegheny Valley School District as well
as the New Kensington/Arnold School District. During this
time, he was a volunteer coach for the Springdale Dynamos.
In 1998, Mr. Clark left
Pennsylvania and went to work as a high school math teacher at Manassas
Park High School located in Northern Virginia. He was also employed as a football coach,
baseball coach and academic coach. In 2002, Mr. Clark's roles
changed as he took on the role of administrative intern where he
served until 2006. During this time, Mr. Clark continued to
teach in his subject area, but also performed duties of an assistant
principal. These duties helped shape his administrative vision
and give valuable experience as a high school principal.
Effective June 15, 2006, Mr. Clark
is now the Principal of Apollo-Ridge High School. He is
excited to return to Western Pennsylvania and serve the students and
community of the Apollo-Ridge School District.
