Mr. Mark K. Fetterman
Mr.
Mark K. Fetterman is principal of the elementary school. He is responsible for 756 students and 57 professional staff
personnel. Over his long tenure with the
Apollo-Ridge School District he is or has served on the
following committees: Curriculum Council, TEEP
(technology), Induction, Special Education,
Staff Recognition, Retirement, Learning
Festival, Education Foundation, Strategic
Planning. Presently,
Mr. Fetterman is the District's Access Coordinator...a
program in which the District can earn federal dollars
for the enhancement of Special Education Programs. Other
areas of responsibility include: Special Education
Programs/Services (K5), Curriculum /Instruction,
Teacher Evaluation, Guidance/Health Services,
Attendance, Discipline, and Budget. Mr.
Fetterman is a 1972 graduate of Edinboro University
where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary
Education. He earned his Master's Degree from
Duquesne University in 1976 and his subsequent Principal
Certification in 1978. Mr. Fetterman began his
professional career as an elementary teacher in the
Apollo-Ridge District in 1972. He taught at
various grade levels and buildings during his 20 years
within the classroom. Mr. Fetterman was appointed
as principal in 1992. |
Mrs. Robin Barber Mrs.
Robin L. Barber, as assistant elementary principal,
is responsible for 756 students and 57 professional staff
personnel. Her
areas of responsibility include curriculum /
instruction, teacher evaluation, attendance, discipline,
and budget. Mrs.
Barber came to us from Moon Area School District where she
was an elementary learning support teacher. She
earned a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from
Ohio University in 1993. She achieved her Master's
Degree from University of Pittsburgh in 2000 and her
subsequent elementary and secondary principal
certification. Her professional career has offered
her experiences with various grade levels. She was
appointed as assistant elementary principal in November
2001. |
