This message is a follow-up to the communication sent earlier this afternoon.

Earlier this afternoon a bomb threat was found in the middle school building. It was immediately reported to law enforcement on campus. While the level of the threat was assessed as having low credibility, all students at the high school and middle school were evacuated to the elementary school in order to take every precaution while investigating the threat. Staff and school officials conducted their protocol in initially assessing the area. Additional law enforcement was present on campus, and trained bomb dogs were used to conduct a thorough search of the building. Upon completion of the search, law enforcement communicated that all was clear, and the buildings were safe for students and staff. The students were then walked back up to their buildings. It was also confirmed that all was safe to continue with after school activities.

Administration will continue an investigation regarding the source of the threatening statement, and will cooperate with law enforcement in any regard to keeping our students safe.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
