THE BICYCLE PROJECT - WHAT IS IT?
The Bicycle Project is a community engagement program through the Transportation Technology class offered by Mr. Jeff Jones.
SCOPE OF THE PROGRAM
Gently used bicycles are donated to the school by residents of the community. The Transportation Technology students refurbish them to be donated to families in need through the St. Vincent DePaul thrift store in the Apollo Plaza.
HOW TO DONATE
Gently used bicycles can be dropped off at the high school at any time over the course of the year. The drop-off location is at the rear of the high school building. Bear left as you enter the campus and follow the drive around to the back of the building. There is a sign, and usually a couple of donated bikes, indicating the drop-off location.
Free bicycles will be available at the St. Vincent DePaul Thrift Store in the Apollo Plaza beginning December 20, 2013.
