Welcome to the 2006-2007 Apollo-Ridge Elementary PTA Membership Drive!

Please consider joining PTA for your child(ren).  The cost is $4.00 per every adult membership.  Any adults over the age of 18 can join!  The membership drive starts on August 31, 2006 and ends on September 29, 2006.  If you join by September 29 your name will go onto a list that will be given to your child's homeroom teacher.  The names on that list will have first consideration for homeroom parties, activities and field trip chaperones.  If you have more than one child in the Elementary School, the $4.00 membership fee will be counted towards each child listed.  When listing names on the form, please write your child's first and last name to eliminate any confusion.  Also make sure their teacher's name is listed.  If you are a kindergarten parent, please indicate AM or PM class. 

If your child brings in a membership, they will receive a neon monkey bracelet.  This will be one per child.  For every adult membership they bring in, their name will go into a classroom drawing for the chance to win a plush monkey beanbag.  If they bring in an adult male membership, they will receive an extra chance in that drawing!  There will be one winner per classroom (32 winners).  The classroom that has the highest percentage of memberships will receive a large inflatable monkey to dress up!  We will have them displayed in the lobby of the elementary building.  There will be three winning classrooms.

You can join PTA at any time, however, in order for your name to go on the Main List for the Homeroom Teachers and for your child to be eligible for the contests, your form and money must be submitted by September 29.  If you have any questions, please contact Kathy Johnson at 724-478-1453.
